The Characters’s lighting were straight forward but rendering the dumpling caused a lot of problems. It came out too blurred so I rendered them with different shutter speeds.
Kung Fu Panda 02

– Passes Set up and rendered
-Compositing
Created some passes for the baskets and the character inside the basket.
Kung Fu Panda 03
– Character and environment CG lighting

These rabbits were a nightmare for rendering and lighting. It took forever to load in the 3d viewer because of their fur density. I remember having to optimize them a lot to be able to render them correctly. Their shaders for their skin were not same either. It was challenging to render them successfully.
Kung Fu Panda 04
– Character and environment CG lighting
– Passes Set up and rendered
-Compositing
I think my art Director really liked this shot.
Shrek Forever After 01
– Character and environment CG lighting
– Passes Set up and rendered
-Compositing
This was a challenging shot for me because it was a very tight deadline. The art direction was very specific. The character was animated in and out of the lighting with very specific color temperature directions. I got the note late afternoon and completed the shot the next day.
Shrek Forever After 02
– Character and environment CG lighting
– Passes Set up and rendered
-Compositing
I was given very specific direction for this shot. The art director had a very clear vision and he was very happy to get what he wanted. I was pleased.

Kung Fu Panda2
-Character and environment CG lighting
– Passes Set up and rendered
-Compositing
Set up and look development on the main character for the sequence level. The character was a challenge in the beginning because nothing really looked right on him. I remember when Jeffrey Katzenberg saw me working on him, he stopped by my desk and told me “sorry and thank you” that I need to deal with this guy.
Shrek Forever After
-Character and environment CG lighting
– Passes Set up and rendered

This was perhaps the most expensive sequence in this show from Jeffrey Katzenberg. I was selected specifically to work on this sequence for Fiona.
